Claire's TWO!

On November 4th, Claire turned two! The last couple of months she has become so active and talkative. Her little personality is becoming really funny and sassy at times. She darts her little eyes at you when she knows she shouldn't do something. She's got a mind of her own that's for sure.

She loves to do whatever her big brother Cole is doing and just laughs at him. Their relationship has just blossomed and they are so sweet together. Cole always is asking to get her up in the morning or from her nap. He loves having a little playmate. They wrestle and hug and chase.

She talks a lot but it is not all that understandable yet most of the time. It's getting better everyday.

She likes to play hide and seek and counting. She's got seven and nine down. Over and over again. So funny.

She moved into her toddler bed a couple months ago and after Christmas she will begin sleeping in the twin bed in her room before moving in with Cole. The transition was seamless. Never once got out still to this day. She is so easy to put to bed. She just crawls into bed, lays face down, we put a blanket on her and never hear a peep. Still taking one 4 hour nap or two shorter ones depending on our schedule.

Looking forward to see what's next for her. She's changing everyday.

Formal Living (forgot the true before) Basically, it was our junk room before we finished unpacking from the move. Six months after the moved, all boxes are unpacked. Happy 4th Birthday, Cole!

Dear Cole,

The last four years have flown by so fast and you are growing and changing in many ways. You are in the 66% for your height, so you at taller the most of your friends. You are also such a kind, sweet, gentle brother and friend. You are quick to give affection and say you're sorry. You have an amazing gift of humor that makes us all laugh. I am always so impressed with how well you communicate with us and others. You started so young so I shouldn't be by now but you are beyond your time.

Your sister loves to do whatever you are doing. She just thinks you are hilarious. She adores you.

This fall you begin a four year preschool class at Kingsland, along with mothers day out at Tallowood. You also will play you first team sport: soccer! You are so pumped and I can't wait to be your loudest supporter.

This is the year you also start attending the worship service with us at church. So that is new and exciting. We are praying for you that your heart will one day be ready to know and follow Christ.

Mommy and Daddy love you dearly! You are so precious to us and a major blessing in our lives and I know many others as well.

Spiderman Party

Cole's 4th birthday happened a few weeks ago and his party was on the day of his birth. Not often that will happen. Since his 3rd birthday, he told me he wanted a "Cat in the Hat" birthday, so I planned in my head all year. Then, two months away, he became Spiderman obsessed and a new theme it was. Such a fun day with friends, family, bounce houses, pools, saddle-riding and more.

Claire's 1st Birthday

Cole's 3rd Birthday

{blogged just before his forth birthday, actually took place in July 2011} Starting on his second birthday, Brent has taken the day off to have a full day of celebration with Cole and it has been so fun. For his 3rd birth-DAY celebration, we went swimming at Noah's Ark pool, lunched at Chickfila, and ate dinner at his favorite place, Freebirds! Complete with brownie, singing, presents and all.
